The GPS Tracking for school buses have a mobile App for A) Parents B) Bus Operator (Transport In-Charge) and C) School Security Management having relevant features. The Parents Apps generate a) Notifications – Student Pick-up and Drop, Change of Schedule etc. b) Alerts – Bus Approach at designated stop, Delays etc. The Management Apps generate a) Notifications for each buses b) Alerts for Over Speeding, Route deviation etc. c) Reports for each bus covering student’s data, actual transit times, idle times, route history etc. The reports generate precise data related to the fleet operations. Most importantly, the school’s and student’s data is completely secured on our dedicated server in encrypted format with stringent access controls, only to the authorized personnel with due authentication. This risk area is not being duly focused on-to by the Schools, BUT has a huge potential risk as can be assessed from some of the sensitive breaches that have taken place recently.

The UI allows the School Authorities to undertake the routine changes like bus allocation (in case of a bus change), time schedule alterations (e.g. for national days, specific events), route change, personnel change, student allocation (e.g. incase of exam schedules, sports & cultural events etc.), all by themselves. From April 2019, onwards all school buses need to have AIS 140 certification which is going to mandate some additional features like SOS Buttons, Dual IP Communication, Embedded SIM etc. We are ‘Compliant Ready’ for this.
