Critical structural and geotechnical conditions can develop between inspection cycles — within structures, protection systems and terrain that cannot practically be observed continuously.

SecTr's A-SHM architecture combines distributed sensing, derived indicators, anomaly interpretation and site-level intelligence to continuously assess changing infrastructure conditions and support earlier, better-informed intervention.

Capabilities

A-SHM sensing clusters connected to a cloud dashboard, with a monitored site example

01

Distributed Multi-Parameter Sensing

Structural and environmental parameters can be monitored across multiple points — including acceleration, tilt, strain, accumulated load and stress, displacement, soil moisture and pore pressure, rainfall and other asset-specific conditions.

02

Node → Cluster → Site Intelligence

A-SHM moves beyond treating every sensor as an isolated alarm. Individual node behaviour can be interpreted within clusters and progressively consolidated into a site-level health view — allowing local anomalies to be understood in their wider structural and environmental context.

03

Asset-Specific Intelligence

Different infrastructure behaves differently. A-SHM's parameter framework can be configured around different infrastructure applications, including bridges, tunnels, FoB/RoB structures, rockfall protection systems and slope stability.

Rockfall & Landslide Monitoring

Critical structural and geotechnical conditions can develop between inspection cycles — within structures, protection systems and terrain that cannot practically be observed continuously.

The architecture can add intelligence to existing protection grids or be deployed across vulnerable slopes where continuous human observation is impractical.

It monitors mechanical and environmental behaviour and converts those signals into condition and risk intelligence for remote assessment and maintenance intervention.

A-SHM 3D site view showing monitored terrain and sensor clusters

The screen shows a 3D view of the site, letting users see terrain and sensor activity in real time.
The Selected Cluster panel displays active clusters with sensor data and the 3D map highlights zones for better monitoring.
